The Cave Nebula, known as Sh2-155, is a region of emission and reflection located in the constellation Cepheus, about 2,400 light-years from Earth. This nebula is characterized by its distinctive shape, resembling a dark cave surrounded by bright clouds of ionized gas, particularly rich in Hydrogen Alpha (Hα). Sh2-155 is an active star-forming region, where young massive stars heat and sculpt the surrounding clouds.
