Sh2-190 and Sh2-199, the Heart and Soul nebulas in Cassiopeia

The Heart & Soul nebulas complex (Sh2 190, Sh2-199), 7,500 light years from Earth, in constellation Cassiopeia. It spans an area of about 2x6 deg in the night sky, the equivalent of about 50 full moons. The two nebulas are rich in ionized oxygen (blue areas), ignited by young central stars.
