Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS ☄️ This is a comet originating from the outermost regions of the Solar System. It was discovered in January 2023 by the Tsuchinshan Observatory and the ATLAS alert system. It reached its perihelion (closest approach to the Sun) on September 27, and its closest approach to Earth on October 13.
