The ShaRA team is proud to present its latest astrophotography project. ShaRA#11.1 focuses on the Small Magellanic Cloud and 47 Tucanae. Eight astrophotographers collaborated to create a wide-field image using a remote Nikon 100mm f/2 located in Chile. The image includes approximately 15 hours of integration in RGB/HO combination. We paid particular attention to the colors of the different stellar populations that shape our satellite galaxy. Additionally, we identified the main clusters of the SMC and the Magellanic Stream, using the catalog published by Bika et al. in 2020.
