IC 410 (Tadpole Nebula) NGC 1983 IC 410, sometimes known as the Tadpole Nebula because of its northeastern filaments, is a large emission nebula visible in the constellation of Auriga; it is linked to the open cluster NGC 1893, formed by young massive stars rather dispersed. The region is the site of important star formation processes generating stars of great mass. Its distance is about 19,640 light years. Resumed on November 25, 2024 Sannicola LE Italy SQM 19.48
