Orion over Riolunato

By Daniele Lusci

After finishing work, the weather conditions seemed perfect to test my new artisans 11mm f/2.8. It’s a lens I’ve wanted to buy for a while, given its reputation for a good quality/price ratio. I chose a location near my home because i was tired and wouldn't have been able to do long walks. Even though the temperature was -3°C, there was no wind, and it was really comfortable. After the first shot,i immediately noticed its quality... in terms of chromatic aberrations, coma, and astigmatism, it’s truly phenomenal. I noticed it loses a bit of sharpness at the edges, but i was expecting that. Despite that, i’m really satisfied, and I’d like to use it in situations where i don’t have a lot of time to dedicate to making a pano. Hope you like it!
