Supernova HB3
By Toni Fabiani
We located this HB3 supernova remnant in the Cassiopeia constellation, right where Ic1795 the fish nebula and Ic1805 the heart nebula are. This supernova is one of the largest in our galaxy with 1.5ºx2º, it originated about 40,000 years ago. In the image we can very faintly see 2 planetary nebulae. PN G132.8+02.0 and PK131+02.1 or more commonly known as Abell 3. 50x600" Ha 41x600" SII 48x600" OIII Draco Observatory Hoo+SII
