M104 Sombrero Galaxy

The Sombrero Galaxy, also known as M104 or NGC 4594, is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Virgo, approximately 28 million light-years from Earth. It gets its name from its distinctive shape, which resembles a Mexican sombrero, with a bright core and a wide ring of dark dust surrounding it. The galaxy has a diameter of about 50,000 light-years and hosts a supermassive black hole at its center. It is one of the most photographed and studied galaxies due to its beauty and unique structure.
