NGC 1760 IN THE LMC

THE NGC 1760 IS A STUNNINGLY SHAPED EMISSION NEBULA AND A STAR-FORMING REGION. SOME STAR CLUSTERS IMMERSED IN IT, NGC 1761 AND NGC 1763 ARE PART OF THE COMPLEX. IT IS AT A DISTANCE OF 160.000 LIGHT-YEARS AWAY FROM EARTH, SITUATED IN THE LARGE MAGELLANIC CLOUD (LMC), A SATELLITE GALAXY OF OUR OWN GALAXY. THIS IMAGE WAS CAPTURED USING H-ALPHA AND OXIGEN III NARROWBAND FILTERS COMBINED IN HOO PALLETE AND PROCESSED USING PLEIADES ASTOPHOTO PIXINSIGHT AND AFFINITY PHOTO.
